Why not hang out with both at the same time? May as well dream Telecaster big ;D
Yeah, these freaky looking guys who can play their asses off, are amazingly versitile, have tons of money, who are working musicians, and are nice people who are very generous with their time and money... pisses me off.
i worked at 7-11 when i was a kid and had to wear a funny outfit and i don't see any difference. the guys making a living playing guitar, that's pretty rad if you ask me.
I have no problems with his outfits or makeup. However, if he let the tele do the talking, he wouldn't dress to stand out like that. There are probably hundreds of studio cats in TN and TX who can play at his level.
Couldn't agree more!
Y'all should see me on the beach.
You know who else critiques the way musicians look? My wife.
Tell me about it!
I always thought his playing overshadowed his appearance. Dude's a badass.
Threads like this are one of the bigger reasons why well-known players don't contribute more to these sites.
If you have to have hung around cows to be a country picker. that thins the herd. Pun intended. Stu
I'm gonna guess you were a kid about the same time I was lol.
Brad Paisley cant roll with John 5........Just sayin
Anyone know this guy ?
john 5 is a tele master who gives a flip about his stage clothes and make up
yes, but is he a vampire, a zombie, or a black metal dude from norway?
its all so confusing.
John 6 laughs in the general direction of John 5.
Just to add to this (immature) thread:
My money is on J5 having more chops, cooler Teles (including a sig.) sold more records, hangs with cooler people, bangs hotter chicks ect. ect. than anybody in this thread.
I wouldnt laugh too hard at him.
the guy is a great, succesful player.
better than me, no doubt.
regardless of how good or successful anybody is,
if they have fishing tackle stuck in their face,
and are applying clown makeup,
i will laugh at them.
and i will laugh hard.
thats how i roll.
