I am just loving the Mosky Amp Turbo. I use it on my smaller board for the weekly blues jam. Timmy side set clean-ish, with level only a little bit above unity. Boost side set low, to push the Timmy side for a solo boost. It fattens things up a touch, and just makes the Timmy side that much more "alive". Great pedal with a few small nits...

    1. Boost foot-switch pop is pretty loud. I might try to tame it.
    2. Boost side is a bit too loud. It would be nice if it was less "boosty" when set yo minimum.
    3. In/Out and DC jack positions - they are too close together. Makes it hard to keep things as neat as I prefer.

    All small things. Great pedal.

Bumping this thread for 2019! :D

So... which is best for a cheapo BB Preamp clone? I'm about to order either the Mosky BB Preamp or the Caline Orange Burst.

Which one should I go check out first?

    Thanks!

I like the mini form factor of the Mosky, but I found that the Caline sounded MUCH better to my ears.

Actually, I have gotten rid of both, so no vids. Th Orange Burst had a smoother overdrive character than the BB to my ears. The BB was harsh by comparison. But in the end, I had other overdrives I liked better than either of them.

Hi,guys...just want to ask...I am thinking of buying either mosky's amp turbo or deluxe preamp. I noticed that deluxe preamp has more switches, hence more modes...but, will it have the same tone as the amp turbo?
The reason I ask this because I REALLY like the amp turbo sound in each videos on Youtube. But, strangely, I can't say the same with deluxe preamp. They may sound a bit identical...but I felt Amp turbo tone is just more organic and pleasant to my ears.

Does anyone here think the same?

    Thank you

The Deluxe looks like a Fulldrive FD2 and the Turbo looks like the Lovepedal Amp 11, so you might be able to do more searching to help you decide.

I agree with this, the Deluxe is very similar to the FD2 (I had one of those on loan for quite awhile and really liked it, the Deluxe is very similar).

Thank u so much , Bristlehound and Richey88 for the confirmation...that pretty much explains why they behaved differently in the demos. I will definitely get Amp Turbo then.

I came across it just looking for a low buck way to enter the Muff Fuzz world, so I have no idea how long they have been available.
