This is pretty intriguing.

Trying to look past the stellar song choice, expert playing and high production values, I still think it sounds great.

I'm in a simplification phase. A simple, small multi-effect with analog drives is pretty attractive. Particularly as it has a tuner AND allows for patching a volume pedal after drives and before modulation.

The Red Truck + a DOD mini volume pedal would be a simple, small, powerful rig.

It's a good idea. I love my Fly Rig but the lack of a loop made it unviable for me. This solves for that and adds presets and tuner. Pretty well thought out.

Is a matter of probability…
Boost/OD/Distortion with Mods/Echo/Verb with tuner and tap switch.
Patching options open up its usability. It doesn't sound like crap. I bet they sell a ton of those.

Then this! Has expresion input... cab sim if one want, third party ir support... and other very nice stuff

The Nux looks better thought out and I dont need the reverb or like the way the tuner on the red truck looks....but either way, these both look AWESOME for a touring musician trying to have an affordable, portable all in one multieffects box that has all the features you could need.

So many little things to marvel at. I love that the delay has tap tempo. I love that you can save preset configurations and have your set programmed ahead of time with different settings all saved for modulation and delay. I love that it has a tuner and midi integration. Many exciting things about it, if you ask me.

If they really dial this sort of thing in, it could easily be a great touring option if not always in the studio and such.

What a bummer. Not actually presets. Pedal combos are saved but not pedal settings. So it won't work for my needs. Too bad.

I think the nux has most things going for what it is. Prices on both nux and mooer would be interesting. Tech21 flyrig suddenly doesnt look so good.

Nux has the best routing options to, 4CM and all...

Theese brands are coming out with really cool stuff.

Personaly im more drawn to the boss ms-3 mfx/switcher.

Another brand going that route:
Mainstream

Metal

And last not least: Mini

Yep...
i tested a dapper with a friend, we were not impressed (being to much spoiled by pedals and amps...)
Dapper is what it is, it can work for anyone, but to my ears Nux has the best sounding unit so far, imho!

One thing that attracts me to the NUX is that both the od/distortion and the delay/reverb section both have effects order flipping plus also the option to run them in parallel. Great feature.

It's quite a jump for me to consider a $299 box by NUX whose pedals I've seen go for $23
imho the nux cerberus is priced for what it does. Its not like buying a bunch of $23 nux pedals to try to make them work like the cerberus. It wouldnt be worth the hassle... imho of course. The make stuff they think we want, and generaly they do that pretty good. I think the nux cerberus is a home run. The mooer red truck also. I wont buy neither of them, because i dont need to. But if i wanted to have a "grab and go" thing. I would seriously consider one of those.

I doubt that I'll be able to get one anytime soon, but for now it's a toss up between the NUX and Boss MS3.

Well... if it were about money only i would wait for the Nux, but the ms-3 is a different thing. For me and what i need the ms-3 is worth every penny.

I am still not sure about consolidated pedal yet. 1 stomp issue could take them all out?
I was looking last year at these.

Looking at the T Rex manual I suspect those are just preset combinations. Not preset combinations with preset settings. Interesting.
