That's a great price on a good amp.

So, do these roll off of the same factory line as the Laney Cub, or are they a clone of the same circuit? Asking for a friend who has too many amps already.

The prior Monoprice 15W looked like a Laney Cub. This one does not and is lacking the second lower watt input. Does anyone know how much they have changed it?

I would defiantly (;)) be tempted, but I have this already....a Vox Pathfinder 15R housed in a cab with a 12" speaker. Spring reverb AND tremolo. IMG_0118.JPG

Nice! Running mine through a 10" Greenback in homemade cab. Enjoy!
And that Monoprice is tempting!!! Good price.

Very cool looking/ nice features amp!
Two questions, I did not see addressed in the ad copy:
    - What's with the 'Tone' control, along with the 3 band EQ?
    - Am I seeing a little output/ power tube switch that reduces power from 15 watts?
Sorry if I missed specs- thanks!

For yet another amp, probably so. I've also got 3 amps needing repair and one in the shop so I have to get all those done first.

Man. If it weren’t for the currency exchange, the international shipping, the duty, and the brokerage fee, I’d be all over that!

I set the tone at 5-6 and haven’t touched it in months.
Yes, the stab switch gives you 15/1w...I keep mine on 1w. 3-12ax7s, 2-EL84 in pcb...I’ve rolled the preamp tubes a couple of times just to do it...I think it sounds better with the Genalex Gold Lion ECC83 in V1. Day to day, I might run it at vol 2/gain 2 or vol2/gain 8. Other settings I just set and forgot...here:

Has an effects loop...I haven’t used it. Mostly play this one clean. Nice spring reverb. $200 a steal...I gave more for mine. Cheers.

In a review I watched on YT, the reviewer described it as a Presence control.

The tone knob is like a presence control. Bass, mid, treble controls. Gain control. And a 15/1 watt switch. Decent spring reverb. A very versatile little amp. Mine gets used much more than my Fender '68 custom reissue. ;)

Same circuit as the Laney cub. They added a button switch (next to the input) for 1 watt/15 watt, so there's no need for the second input. BTW, it's an awesome sounding tube amp for very little money! I have 2 of them, one for cleans, and the other for dirt, and an A/B/Y switch for channel switching, LOL!
