Monoprice 12” cabinet?

I needed a 12” cab to take to jams. At first I was looking for an empty cab and was probably going to put a SC-64 in it. Then I stumbled on a Monoprice 12” cab that came with a Celestion Vintage 30 for the same price as most empty cabs. I figured if I can’t live with the sound I could always buy whatever I like. There seems to be good reviews on these. Any experiences from other members?

I bought one on Amazon on sale for $159 a few years ago. I see there’re on sale for $199 now. Plywood cab with a great speaker, tolex is done well. I say go for it. I use mine with a Mesa TA 15 and it sounds great!

I have a older Mono 15 Stage Right 12" cab. I gutted the chassis and built something else in it when the amp failed. But the cab seems pretty good. It's ply not particle board or MDF at least. Not sure if that transfers over to their extension cabs though.

Monoprice Cabinet was delivered. Initially I was concerned because the cab was in a big box and was sliding around. When I opened the box the cab was double boxes and in great condition. I’m shocked that they can deliver something of this quality for that price. It’s a really nice cab and sounds good with my Quilter 101 Reverb. So far I’m liking the Celestion just fine. At that price I can get something else and not get crushed.

Ironincally I'm also using that cabinet with a 101 reverb. I've been quite pleased with it.
