Those were chimps...apes. Those loose in Danville were monkeys, which are not classified as apes. Monkeys have tails....apes don't. Both are primates, but if the primate you’re trying to identify is not a human, gibbon, chimpanzee, bonobo, orangutan, or gorilla (or a lemur, loris, or tarsier), then it’s a monkey.

Most of the stories I have seen seemed to try to put a good (or humorous) spin on this...
Fact is, they were essentially destined to be "lab rats" and being terminated after the accident/escape may be a merciful ending to their story.
I hope the lab work is essential and important. Or wish maybe.

i always correct people when they say monkey and they are talking about a chimp

but there are a few monkeys that dont have tails like the barbary macaque

Goon Park is actually 600 N. Park St. In Madison, WI. A building I've been past hundreds of times.

Ironically, Before Davy Jones' passing, he owned a horse farm about 35 miles from this Monkey Event outside of Harrisburg PA

This is such a wonderfully local response. I have to agree, Scott at Schoolhouse is a great guy, and I love stopping by to see what he has. I picked up a homemade looking resonator with a Tele body from him a while back. Now I’m wishing that I still had it.
