    You can't beat the sound,intonation and feel of a Gotoh modern brass bridge.
    First think I put in all my teles.

    I've been wanting to build a baritone tele with coil sized rail humbuckers on both neck and bridge!

    You are perfectly free to with it as you wish. Maybe it sounds better. I was just saying I would have left it as is. I don't pay $4600 for guitars either, but that's your prerogative.

    I think I was only saying what a lot of other people were thinking.

    Nice blend of old and new!! The rails must scream!! Sort of like a “Back to the Future” type thing!!
    As long as ya got the original pups and bridge safely in a bag in the case- you’re all set!!
    What were the specs on those original pups anyways?? Did the neck bucker “play well” with the bridge??
