After all, sliced bread is convenient. It doesn't taste better or as good as freshly baked bread.

No, the best tweak was the linen companies who added "Bottom or Top" or "Side" labels on pre-fitted sheets.

CNC machines make better cheap guitars. Robots make cars better than any workers could in the past.

Lok around you may find a bread slicer. I've seen one in the Bakery of a town our family owns a house in.
That way you can brake bread and slice it too.

    I love modern tweaks.

headstock or spoke wheel truss rod adjusts? Yep.

    Flatter radius? Yep.

    Bigger frets? Yep.

    Noiseless pickups? Yep.

    At least 22 frets? Yep.

    Locking tuners? Yes please.

    Six saddle bridges? Definitely.

And as I get older, slimmer “modern C” necks? Yeah. I gotta say it helps.

I also like safety glass, radial tires, and airbags. Not to mention AC and cruise control, anti-lock brakes, and AWD.

I find LED stage lighting an enormous improvement over par cans.

I think my air fryer kicks my old deep fryer’s ass. From nearly every angle.

Don’t even get me started on my smartphone. That thing is worth at least three times what I paid for it. Maybe more.

    • Air 'fryer' most definitely, what a value that thing's been
    • Xeriscaping > turf (region-specific, but still a huge improvement if you have a choice)
    • Vinyl + lossless digital > CD
    • 100 watts of amplifier with all the effects of a GT-6 @ $360 (Katana 100-1x12)
    • GPS>Maps (but you should know how to read a map)

Headphone rigs! No matter what your preference, it's never been better to hear any amp through some cans. Mine is tube amps--->loadbox--->cab simulator--->DAW or small mixer.
