modern soul movement?

    Does anyone have any tips on bands to check out that are part of the modern soul movement?? In the style of st paul and the broken bones or alabama shakes or california honeydrops or charles bradley... etc

    I'll also add that I've seen Sharon Jones, Charles Bradley and Lee Fields in the last year or two (and Sharon again in a couple weeks) and they all put on dynamite shows.

    Would Joss Stone or even Adele fit in with this stuff?

    I missed charles bradley at jazz fest this year... he played thursday and I was in town friday to see st paul and the broken bones. I was heart broken... haha
