Here's a video where I talk about one of my and probably your Modern-Day Guitar heroes.
Thanks to his phenomenal guitar playing, Chris Buck is one of the most influential players out there!
I forgot to mention in the video that I am in no way shape or form saying that my guitar playing is anywhere near Chris' playing.
This video is about how to incorporate someone else's techniques and ideas into your playing, please don't forget, finding your own voice on the instrument is what matters!

There are plenty of other guitar players that I'm more than sure they'll be a household name in the future.

I think we have to cherish players like Chris Buck, Josh Smith, Julian Lage and many others. They are posting stuff online for our entertainment and there is so much we can learn from them.

What do you guys think, who are your modern-day guitar heroes?

    Cheers and stay safe!

There are a lot of under rated guitar players in rock and country today and during yester-year.

Whit Smith, Guthrie, Isbell, Matheus Canteri, Zane Banks, Billy Strings, Marcus King. And that's just the country/Americana types. Loads of great folks out there sharing... Tomo Fujita is one of my favorites at the moment.

When I first started playing guitar, I was drawn to the style of the virtuoso. I’ve now come to appreciate the guitarists I would describe as “effective”. You know- those players who say everything in the simplest way? The ones who effortlessly carry the emotion of a song? Restraint is just as beautiful as the notes we play.
