I think it is snack food.
But I have never seen any.
They make potato chips
Pretzels and other snack things
they are good tater chips... we used to eat'em up when I lived in Ky.
A staple in the home-20; a little over rated IMHO, lots of smaller brands do a better chip..
We are ( in VA ) complete UTZ NUTS! ForYears now.
This has been the year of the ' kettle chip' for us....love Crab chips, Old Fashioned, Jalapeňo,
AND Cheddar popcorn!
UTZ is out of Western PA
Regionally popular potato chip when I lived in Pennsyltucky in the 1980s. I was also surprised to see them as a platinum sponsor of MLB postseason. Looks like they now make cheeseballs and so forth as well and are making a play for the national snack market...so basically the Rolling Rock of potato chips. There are way better potato chips that are made in Lancaster County, PA, but none have the budget to advertise or contain enough preservatives to distribute nationally I guess. Get you a box of Good's or Zerbe's if you ever get the chance!
Uh, no... Hanover, southern York county just north of Baltimore, near Gettysburg.. part of what is sometimes known as south central PA.
Dieffenbach's up Lebanon way is a solid choice also.. all are better than Utz.
Guess I thought it was further West- so sue me,
" Uh, no...'
Na, we would need to go all the way to York for that, parking is terrible..
Back in the day these were my favorite.
Carolina BBQ flavored were great as well.
Speaking of York.. Bickel's does some pretty good chips!
While we're at it, Smittie's soft pretzels in Dover (North of York on 74) are pretty darn good and you can buy them in bulk. Better than any Philly soft pretzel I've had. Horrid little parking lot though...park across the street.
Grandma Utz in the brown bag are pretty awesome. Just ignore the calorie count
I live in the “Potato Chip Capital Of The World”.
Because of the broad settlement of Germans in SE PA, what would you expect, sauerkraut?
UTZ is huge on the eastern coast and the mid atlantic region of the united states, since we are doing PA chips any of you PA boys like Middleswarth chips?
