I think that's what I'm going for. Maybe sliiightly relic'ed...lol
Oh man I hope the bridge pup fit's in my Senn Blackguard. I don't want to route the guitar cavity to fit. We will see and can't wait to see / hear your finished Broadcaster!
They sent me a picture of the raw body:
And a picture with color:
Finally done. Sounds great. I really like the lap steel bridge pickup.
Got one in progress
Will be two tone sunburst, double bound, with a Matney G-bender.
Not to mention it's a 1 piece body! That is going to be cool.
They’ve been pretty cool so far - I sent them a picture of a guitar where I particularly liked the grain and the body they got for me is pretty much 100% identical. Just waiting for some pics of the finish when that’s done.
Mine still in progress
Fiesta Red is a great color. It works well with a maple or RW neck.
Definitely. Even though i ordered it as Faded Fiesta Red MJT tells me that the lightning on the photos do not show the exact color.
I also ordered a usacg maple neck and it finally arrived 5 months later and MJT started working on it. It will be Vintage Amber Tint with Bare Wood relicing.
I have a strat and a tele that I 'partscastered' together with MJT bodies. I used an early 90s Japanese Fender 50s style neck for the strat and a gigantic non-trussrod Musikraft v-neck for the tele. Don Mare pickups in both guitars.
Love the pic! Nice geets.
Finally she's arrived...
My body is being delivered to them today, so I’m patiently waiting for their email saying they got it!
Waiting sucks....but it is worth it in the end.
I did it again. 59’ White Blonde with the usual Allparts TRO-C and a set of Dawgtown 62’ pickups.
I have two more Allparts necks. A TRO and a TMO. I am definitely doing a Esquire with the maple neck. Just need to find the right body for the RW board.
That looks fantastic and ready for action. Nice consistent aging.
Thanks. They do great work. Never had a problem with any of the bodies they have done for me. My biggest problem is picking out the colors. Way too many to choose from.
Cool. What saddles are they?
