The neck arrived. Great work as usual. Fit like a glove to the White Blonde MJT body. Just waiting on the pickguard and for the pups to be wound.

Larmo63, what BK pickups did you go with? The Country Boys and Flat 52's look interesting.

I actually put Pickup Wizard "Bakersfield sound" pickups in this one, in my other one I have the BK "pile drivers."

I like the the Pickup Wizard sound better......!

Cool, I had a set of his Broadcaster pickups in an older build. I liked them a lot.

Everyone needs a Broadcaster, right? Here is my next (and not last) MJT. Blackguard 2 piece ash a bit over 3 1/2 pounds. Bakelite guard and flat head screws all around. Getting a cool set of pickups from John at Dawgtown. It will have A3 neck and a special lap steel (A3) bridge pickup. Just waiting on some aged 50’s dome knobs and the Allparts maple neck.

Hopefully in a few months I’ll have the money together to begin my first MJT build! I’m thinking it’s going to be an Antigua, double bound tele with a maple neck and Bigsby B16.

If you are planning to build a MJT guitar, dont order your neck from USACG. I did that and my project still have not finished even though the body and neck was ordered in late December. Things getting a bit frustrating.

Also the body is not completed. The guys at MJT are busy lately i think...

There are a few guys on eBay that can make a nice relic neck. YSC can do one but they are the most expensive option that I have seen.

I did have to dremel out a little bit by the bridge. The base plate has a tiny bit of overhang.

I should have the neck in a few days but I will be out of town for a few weeks. I bought 3 Allparts necks last week. One TMO will go on the Broadcaster and I will have a spare TMO and a TRO-C for other projects.

You got it. John said that the lap steel is more aggressive sounding then his Broadcaster pickup. We will see but I am sure it will work great.

Currently weighing a new build. Not a big Relic guy but some of these look pretty cool!
