Start with some Fender OV's. You will be surprised on how good these sound and how inexpensive they can be. Nocasters are great too.

I'd like to join in please!

    Here is my partscaster:
    - MJT blonde body (won in an ebay auction)
    - 50s Baja neck
    - Keystone pick ups with 4-way switching
    - Fender Vintage reissue bridge

I really enjoyed putting this one together and love playing it. Very pleased with the body.

My first time posting photos so I hope they work.

I 'won' a sonic blue MJT strat body at the weekend that according to UPS made it onto Australian shores last night. I'll post pictures of that in the future.

    Thanks!

Thank you! I have the same thing with MJT auctions. The only thing that keeps me from having a huge collection is the deal I have to do with my wife when a new guitar part arrives in the post!

Me too, baiff...I'm embarrassed to mention how many bodies I've bought
Luckily the wife goes along with the obsession
Although I haven't bought any for a year because of the crap aussie dollar

    thanks baiff!
I think the body color has slightly yellowed, which I like a lot.
Has anyone tried to increase the yellowing by putting the guitar in direct sunlight?

My first (but not my last). Body and all hardware (even the Bigs) aged by MJT. Musikraft neck also aged by MJT. VERY happy with this.

SORRY FOR THE CRAPPY CELL PHONE PICS. I wish I could capture all the cool little details :(

Wow! Looks incredibly similar to a cs 61 relic I recently flipped. Even the grain and weight are similar.
That's not doing me any good on missing that guitar!
