We went the theatre last night and saw
Million Dollar Quartet, wow what a great production! It's based on 12/4/56 jam at Sun Records, Perkins, Cash, Lewis, Presley and girl friend. The dialogue sets the background for these guys and their relationship with Phillips.

A lot of music 20+ songs, great vocal and instrumental ability from the cast. The bass player, Bill Morey, was phenomenal; never seen anyone doing such acrobatics with a big bass all while holding down a monster groove.

Definitely worth seeing if you get a chance.

You're talking about the live theatrical production, correct? I took my mother to see it a few years back, we both loved it

I haven't seen it performed around here yet. I'll have to watch for it - it sounds good!

Yes live production, think they have a few different companies performing it around the country.

That clip definitely catches the energy! The production we saw electric was a Tele~seafoam green/wht gaurd, the neck was some kind of dark wood?

I saw it in Vegas about 5 years ago. It was the last year that the show was at Harrah’s. The guys who played Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins blew my mind.

Man could they play. Great show.
