Milk Paint Telemaster Completed

    Completed so I thought I'd post the pics. Turned out pretty much as I'd envisioned. Sounds great but still tweaking the setup. Pickup height affect the sound alot. Wired with the cocked wah wiring. Enjoy!

    Looks great. Did you make or buy the neck/body? Did you do anything special to protect the milk paint?

    Looks great! I like that alot. I've been contemplating milk paint for build and also curious what you used for a topcoat?

    Neck is Allparts, body is Warmoth.

    Topcoat is hemp oil, nice and smooth, easy to work with.

    Just read about it on the realmilkpaint site. Kinda cool that it doesn't build a gloss. Did you use it on the neck as well?

    I am most impressed , the color is a breath of fresh air , the whole instrument is beautiful , good job Bob. I am intrigued by the body shape

    Its a Wilkinson Sung Il, cheap but solid.

    Also fwiw I used Bourns pots. Way smoother than the standard CTS.

    Very cool.

    I like how the tinted neck looks with the gray/green. Cool knobs as well - where did you find those?
