MIJ 1996 50th Anniversary detail

Hi beautiful people,

for those who may have purchased a new MIJ 1996 50th Anniversary Tele, was it supplied with a case? If so, which case was it. Please supply pics if possible.

I have two (2) 50th Anniversary MIJ Fender telecasters from 1996. Both purchased used. One came with a Fender-branded case (I believe the shape is referred to as a “machine gun” style case.). I suspect it is the case that came with it originally.

Red label fender case is in good condition with normal use. Case does not close fully on the bottom as you can see in the photos, not a big deal to most people. Hinges and latches have a small amount of oxidation or rust on them but all work just fine. Some scuffs and scratches etc. as you might

I bought one in the UK in 1996 and it did not come with a case. I bought a rather nice Hiscox case at the same time I got the guitar. Great Teles by the way.
