I finally finished my latest partscaster! I know some of y'all don't really care for this type of thing, but I'm a fancier of beautiful wood. Started with unfinished Warmoth body, Birdseye Maple top.....Alder back. Did a faux binding, Gotoh bridge and a set of 26 year old Gotoh tuners I've been saving to put on something eventually. CTS pots, standard three way switch (had a 4-way I purchased off Amazon that was supposed to be an Oak-Grigsby that turned out to be crap) Warmoth Walnut neck with Birdseye Maple fingerboard, Cavalier Nashville Lion bridge and Lion King neck. Warmoth pickguard and control plate. Knobs from Stew Mac and Dunlop Straplocks. Transfast dyes and Tru-oil finish. Sounds, plays and feels just the way I envisioned it would!! IMG_1049.JPG

Mask off carefully, apply two coats of sanding sealer before you dye it. Try very hard not to get the sealer on the tape cuz if it bleeds under it you have to carefully sand it off the body. IMG_1020.JPG
