Nobody told me I had to play guitar in the middle of the week ;)

I wanted to sing "Let it be" but there's some wrong chord in there somewhere. And it's not the same key. Hmmph.

Thanks Mark, I'm on it, sounds like early 70s, lots of fun, my cats hate it.

The chords seem to be Ab-Eb-Fm (2 beats each) then ascending, 1 beat each F#, G, Ab, and so on. Fm pentatonic will work.

Sounds a bit like the chorus in Bold As Love, but I didn't try to fake Jimi, I couldn't handle the pain,,

I started imagining what I would play over this while sitting here in my hotel room sand guitar. And the solo from bold as love immediately popped into my head. Now I can't hear anything else.

Right... "Let it be" would start C -> G -> Am -> F ... So you can start singing let it be (in the wrong key) but then you're missing that chord...

I guess I gotta figure out how to play what I'm hearing in my head...

Here's my before work mid week jam! I liked the track (threw a little 90s music reference in there if you catch it.)

Thanks for the track! I just let go you know, no points of reference... so "what's the point?" would be a good title for mine!

After the first few bars, all I could hear was "Farmhouse" by Phish.
Just thought I'd mention it so that nobody can use that idea before I have time to do a version ;):D

Interesting effects, are you using compression? I can't figure it out. Phase?
    Nice playing.

If you don’t mind me asking, what is the source of the drums and bass in that? Is that a loop from somewhere, or did you sequence that and play a bass track, or what?

I ask because I am fumbling my way through trying to learn how to think like a drummer and sequence fun and realistic drum grooves. If I had conceived and sequenced this part I would be over the moon, feeling like I had really accomplished something!

Looking forward to being home with my instruments later today to take a crack at this.

Some nice melodic runs in there, nice run at 3:27 mark, cool!

I like the space and pace of your take. It highlight the melody lines.

Nice tone and riffage. You really lit it up about midway.

Very nice speedy riffs and runs with some cool shred. Your tone is always good.
