For a rainy day/week, both are just over two minutes each.
One is a piano ballad and the other is an R&B backer. Have fun with them.

@bigbreak - You did a fantastic job recreating all the song. Lap steel guitar, what a great addition, and perfectly played, as well as the banjo arpeggiated lines. Top !!!
@fendrguitplayr - Nice tremelo tone of the different guitar layers with, as you named, serene lines. Cool added ambient synths .
@Alan L Cole - Liked the bluesy feel with a bunch of well crafted runs and deep verby clean tone.
@Raimonds - Mm1 - Fine crunchy tone and laid back melodic lines with generous bends, reminds of Gilmour / Mm2 - Pleasant paced melodic stories with sometimes a floydish feel

I gave the piano one a try, going for a heavier feel. Epiphone SG Special (GM Alnico II neck) and Twinote Pi Fuzz.

I had written a very long post with a response to everyone's examples but my browser crashed and I lost it all.

Anyway, I'll rewrite it but I just want to say that everyone is killing these tracks. The bar is extra high this week.

@fendrguitplayr Nice tracks! Here's a take on the Mellow one.
Hope I'm not following the chords too closely(?). (That move I'm doing on the D seems familiar, too... probably copping some tune I forgot!)
By the way, I think the Dm in the verse is D (major).
    Cheers, all
Strat with DiMarzio Cruiser neck -> Axe I/O -> AmpliTube TwinReverb and compressor -> Reaper
(edit - tried to improve the fade at the end - missed it before)

Couldn't agree more. All are enjoyable to listen to. A couple notes-
@ASATKat Really like both your tracks - nice chordal/double stop lines
@bigbreak Okay, that's just insanely cool. Mandolin and steel guitar? Just wow, very nice.

WOW, so many great clips. Very nice job guys!

    I'm in, here it is.

I had to go with my Peavey Rockmaster preamp again. I think I'm in love with it again.

Blade bucker loaded Tele > Rockmaster > interface > Reaper running: Two Notes Cab IR's, Valhalla Supermassive & Space Modulator plugins.

I did a left & right swapping lead thing with a rotary effect on the left and just delay on the right. I set the cabs up a little different on both sides too.

    Thanks, great tracks!

Quick and raw one. Squier got a new neck pickup yesterday, DiMarzio PAF Master. May need some adjustments still, but already digging the overall feel of it.
