#3 was one of the choices about two weeks ago. It was a shorter version though.
    Here's what I did then ...

Sorry about that. I've built out these weekly backers a bit into the future and I sometimes rearrange the collections for a (hopefully) better mix of genres and complexity - sometimes I stub my toe in the process, resulting in dups. This is an opportunity to take another shot at the ones I inadvertently duplicate though (two so far).

Here's my take on #3 - it didn't even jog my memory (what's left of it), when I recorded it:

So last week I got bit by a spider on my foot, worst bug bite. After dealing with that I managed to pull or tear a muscle in my groin. Yesterday was the worst, terrible pain, six hrs in the hospital before getting seen, not even 5 minutes with the doc who basically did triage on me due to covid. in other words, nothing, go home and take Motrin. I did not sleep a bit last night, no thanks to my three cats who all wanted to sleep on my face. Such a searing, almost electrical pain.

Today is better than yesterday for sure. here's something for my groin, and you all,

Thanks so much for the dominant blues to play over, this is the first one in a while, there was a long run of minor blues.

A series of misfortunes! I think sleeping on your face is a cat idea of pain treatment, a way of showing their concern. Playing the blues is probably more effective though. Really nice tone here, a very pleasant listen.

Yeah man, you are definitely making the changes. Especially on the IV chord.

@Alan L Cole - I am really not fond of #3 as a backing track, but you made it quite interesting and listenable with the lead you added! Nice tone and playing on #1 too.
@fendrguitplayr - Nice bluesy take! Lovely clean tone. The sliding chords work well.
@Mikejazz - Really cool wah work! Kind of Stevie Ray Jimi. #3 is nice too.
@middy - Isn't it fun playing a laid back swinging jazzy blues? I like the big interval jumps you have here and the lines between them.
@SbS - Interesting tone! It sounds like you are using a really light touch while it is pretty cranked. And you left lots of space too. Very cool!
@klasaine - That is rockin' fusion! I avoided that backer because I thought it already had too much going on in it, but you found a way to make it shine!
@miguelalmeida - Interesting melodies with lots of space!
