Late to the table as usual. I hope to get to a couple of others soon but since Alan kindly dragged one of mine back into the light I thought I'd give it a fast pass first. A bit of a clam fest late, but here's how I remembered hearing the tune:
And here's how I tackled it at the time - surprised to hear some simple-minded slide on it since I've never been a good slide player... but the link tells me this was my Gibson J-100 on the acoustic and my Nashville tele on slide, both tuned to Open G. Then, as now, lead is on my trusty CS-356.
Thanks again. Tested another approach. A load box/attenuator into the interface and a crappy speaker in a DIY isocab. Without attenuating the speaker, the amp can breathe.

I liked this one very much. I was searching for stuff to add to the toolbox. Just some of the golden oldies in rock/bleus solo's. But I did't find lessons that did these. So I listen and try to figure it out myself, probably the best way.
