Very nice, it's my opinion that you are at your best making happy sounding music. There is a child like playfulness in your playing here. When these sort of tunes show up you play happy, or playful, with some humor . Much like the L.A. guys like Jay Gradon, Larry Carlton.
Music is a joyous thing for me. No matter how pissed off I am, when I pick up a guitar - I'm happy.
*And a proudly native born Angeleno ;)

Hey thanks Alan! :) You know, I really do need to hang out here more. I’m not sure why I haven’t tbh. I lurk, but I plan to become more active here. Telecasters actually ARE my very favorite guitars. If I could only have one, it would definitely be a Tele. Grew up playing one and it was my only guitar for the first 15 yrs or so of my musical life. :)

Don't tell anyone but I mostly play my Strats on these tracks. I suspect some might actually be playing non Fender style guitars! I am building a new Tele though so some chance it'll become a new favourite.

I play a 335 a lot. I have 4 Teles but I've been taking a break from them lately. They've become a bit too "guitar du jour" for me these days. Even a lot of the metal guys are whacking on T style axes.

I feel you - my guitar tracks were actually done on the polarizing new PRS Silver Sky SE. Which, love it or hate it…..is an awesome guitar.

Ha, ha! What is it with folks and 'that' axe. It's not like a million other high-end boutique builders have never done a Strat before. For f'k sake ... everybody does a Strat.

*It sounds fantastic in your hands by the way. Great track and great playing!
