    @f69tele - I think you went for the jazzier side of this track. Sort of a Robben Ford fusion tone. Very cool. I associate funk with a kind of bright chicky strat tone, but of course funk has many manifestations, James Brown, P-Funk, Prince, etc., so it is hard to pin down the essence of the style.

    Hmm, ok - points graciously taken. Thanks!! I had no idea what the style was supposed to be but I sure appreciate the insight. Never thought about that what I was playing was actually more "Fusion" but you are correct! On second thought - that's exactly what my take was - conFUSION! LOL!
