With so many home now I'm posting two different backing tracks
this week. One is a funky jazz groove and the other is a basic blues shuffle.
So go with whatever one you like (or both) and have fun with them.

Here's the blues. I''l do the funk tomorrow. Agile LP bridge pickup. Pay no attention to the guitalele in the picture.

Both nice tracks. Intended to try both, but had to stick with the Bluesy one. Neither one is my wheelhouse, but I thought this one would have a better result.

I feel like I've recorded over this before. Not sure I could ever find it though.

And a mellow approach to the blues track. I'm really liking this old Peavey T60.

Here's the funk/jazz one. Stratocaster quack position.

Another fine take and bluesy lines.

That sounds sweet and I liked your phrasing and dynamics.

@Mjark - Cool verge of tube breakup tone and some classic and creative riffage.

You've carved out a slice of Miles Davis on your guitar with cool tones.

Played with class and coolness from the get go through the end.

@fendrguitplayr - Fits the groove and the vibe and everything. Kind of reminds me of Jimmy Vaughn
@f69tele - Sounds in your wheelhouse to me. Kind of Albert King via Stevie Ray I think.
@knh555 - Funk/Jazz: Restrained, tasteful playing, but with an aggressive tone. Very interesting. Blues: Authoritative. Nice tone and riffs.
@estreet - The tone really fits. The octaves too. Very mellow.
@Mjark -Classic licks and tone. Blues with twang!
@Alan L Cole - It does sound like Miles! The tone is not quite trumpet. Kind of in between Miles and John McLaughlin on his Mustang.

Well I decided to give the ol' Funk track a shot. Really just a bunch of noodling, but hey, just for kix, here it is! :) ...and it's not really "funky" unless you throw some Wah and some Flange in there is it??
