    Uh...that would be Mick Taylor, and it's not hype, 300+ songs etc. I believe they had Mick T in for overdubs on the recent Exile outakes...

    He probably earned enough dough with the Stones to last a couple of lifetimes but at least he's still alive and playing guitar.
    Saw him at a small bar in East Lansing, MI in the late '80s. An unremarkable performance.

    I recall reading once that the Stones had a pre-concert meal catered in the UK, the caterer showed up and it turned out to be their original drummer, whom they had lost track of and hadnt seen in about 30 years. I wonder if he is owed any royalties.

    I guess the next question would be once they found out the meal was catered by an ex-band member did they actually eat it???? I wouldn't.

    Nope, he was just a

    Hired guitar player. The never made him a shred member and only paid him the equiv of $750.00 a week.
