I ignored the 6% Paypal fee listed on the weird spreadsheet invoice and just paid the total price. Lol.

Oh, now I've got myself in a dilemma:

Stickers with more than one colour.....just what I wanted! But double the price.... AND I want a sheet of chrome, a sheet of black and maybe one of copper or rose gold.... Extravagant? Considering I produce about 3 instruments a year?

Well, at least you would have options no matter how many you make!;)

These are the chrome/silver. The lighting wasn't very good in the room.

Did they send you a sample of the rose gold? I'm tempted to get a sheet of that along with the black nickel. Rose gold on dark headstocks, black nickel on light.

...Still trying to decide on a new logo. I didn't think I'd be able to come up with something I like, but in reality I came up with 5 that I really like and am trying to narrow it down. I actually had about 15 and narrowed it down to 5 yesterday.

I didn't think I did, but upon looking very carefully at my example sheet, I see that what I mistook for "copper" originally is rose gold! I attempted to get a good pic that showed its color most accurately but couldn't. Basically, it looks just a bit pinker to my eye than it looks in the photo.

I am glad your creativity is running wild!

I think I like this better than the standard gold. Thanks!

There's also the option of putting tinted finish over these as well, to give further variety for final results.

Are these like the current Martin headstock logo that's a thick gold foil?
How do you apply them - is it like a sticker and you peel off the cover sheet leaving the foil lettering?

Yes, there's a paper backing and clear film on top. But it's a bit thicker and more rigid than what you'd think of as foil. For comparison, "standard duty" aluminum foil you might have in your kitchen is usually between .0004 and .0007 thick. These are .003 - .005 or so thick. so like 10x thicker, although still very thin. But that extra thickness makes them quite a bit more rigid.
    They're made of electroformed nickel.

I don't have a picture, but I know of someone who did this. Actually did it to the sticker before applying it to the body, so had a blue-tinted chrome sticker that was applied and then cleared over.

I would say airbrushing a transparent tint directly over the sticker before application could also have interesting effects. Perhaps using something like a transparent model paint like Tamiya. Hmmm. . .

I was thinking Tuvalu, but yeh - Turkey works.

Two color just ruined me, this is going to get expensive. I was trying to figure out yesterday how to do my two color logo as a single color but I didn't like any of the ones I came up with. Looks like I can get them just like this.
