Cinemax had a show called Tales from the Tour Bus, created by Mike Jude of Beavis & Butthead and Office Space fame, and one of the episodes was on Johnny Paycheck. Entertaining as hell, but what a total jackass he was. Also some excellent episodes on Geroge Jones & Waylong Jennings.

Mel Tillis and Jimmy Stewart could tell stories in a manner that just draw you right in like you were there with 'em.
