    I want to protect the finish a little....maybe make the neck a little faster. Nothing much. Would some good carnauba wax work for this...or is there something better? I wouldn't mind shining it up a bit, but really just want to protect it.

    Thanks. Man am I loving this guitar. Did a setup, smoothed out the fret ends, polished the frets, oiled the fret board with Fret Doctor and put some decent strings on it. Wow...what a difference.

    Can't see your picture here at work, but if this is of a Les Paul Studio (Mahogany) I would almost consider trading my Les Paul Studio limited colours edition in Electric Blue for one of these.....that raw mahogany sounds so awesome....I love the growl from the wood and the burstbuckers
