    Hi everybody, I'm new here...
I'd like to share with you this experiment of mine: my unique MJTE (Most Jazzy Telly Ever)!

It's a cheap Harley Benton TE-52 Vintage I modded with a P90 at the neck, a hand milled pickguard (aiming to a McCarty style look) and a very special custom wiring.

    Position 1
just neck P90, no volume, only a tone control tailored to be fully usable. Low load on pickup gives maximum output, punchy and dynamic output.

    Position 2
only neck pickup again but with volume and tone control; the added 500k load to pickup leads to a little softer attack.
You can use this position with volume slightly rolled back as main position and switch to position 1 to boost and fire up the signal for solos...

    Position 3
neck pickup still engaged and now volume control acts as a bass filter taming around 6dB under 100Hz while tone control is neutral at center position (with detent), high frequenti taming if rolled back as before but the more you roll up the more you add bridge pickup to the mix.
If you leave apart the bass cut (just not solder one capacitor) you can have a control on the neck pickup level allowing for pure bridge pickup sound (standard tele).

The goal is to achieve a new and rich tonal palette for neck position lovers.

Croeso - that's "Welcome" in Welsh.

That's an interesting guitar... and intersting pedals, too. Any story behind those?

Hi! Both amps and pedals are stuff I design and build mostly for myself.
    To answer your question:
    LYN is a 7W tube head based on EF86, 12AU7 and a push-pull of NOS 6005W
JON is a dual tank spring reverb, all tube (12AY7, 12AU7, 12AX7 and 12AT7) with transformerless tank driving and independent reverb control.

    Ciao.

That's one cool guitar. I like the pickguard design. And I'm a neck pickup lover, too – though I get along pretty well with the standard pickup and wiring.

Great design on these amps, reverb tank and pedals, too. It's nice to welcome such a creative member.
