Couldn't believe it when I saw the e-mail advert and realized it hadn't yet sold out.

Really looking forward to this show...saw him a while back at the Freight & Salvage...that's more of a proper concert venue, but this is gonna be at a bar in Mill Valley!

Gotta love Marty. I saw him once during lunch at a Cuban restaurant in Nashville (called Asia de Cuba if I recall) and he had the whole getup on--black shirt, pants, jacket and an ascot. Like he wears it all the time.

We saw Marty and The Superlatives in SLC a couple years ago, after watching him on Redd TV or whatever it is, his show that airs is so fantastic. Can’t think of the name right now. Anyway, great concert for one of the greatest bands in the world right now. And I’m not even a huge fan of cuntry music.

Naw I'm not a big country fan either, but Marty's different. As in, really good.

They covered Ballad of Easy Rider as a tribute to Peter Fonda...with Marty's solo on the B-Bender Clarence White played on the original Byrds version. You can see the additional housing for the string puller mechanism in a couple of the photos.

They really are a great band with instrumental and vocal chops extraordinaire!

    They bring it, every time.
Have seen them as an acoustic act, the band doing their own thing in a 200 seat venue (great show), and as house band on the Sweetheart of the Rodeo 50th Anniversary tour (which was transcendently wonderful), and they have killed every time.
Marty has every country schtick in the business--he learned from Lester and Johnny Cash--but it is backed up with solid, I mean solid, musicianship.
    Pisser band.

I’m pretty sure The Sweetwater is Bob Weir’s music hall. Maybe you’ll run into Bobby!

I saw them earlier this month in Albuquerque with Steve Miller. Both bands were great.

Caught Marty and the FS in January. Great show. The solo mandolin bit blew my mind..it almost sounded like a band was on stage playing along, but it was just Marty. Dude's no joke.

They’re coming to Knoxville on Halloween. Got tickets, can’t wait to see them.

Yeah Marty Stuart is great. We saw him a couple years ago at Starplex in Dallas. He opened for Stapleton.

Apologies for that, but the curtains were closed until just before the band hit the stage and once they started playing it never entered my mind.
