I’m going for the tone off of “Ghost Train” and “Way Out West”, a lot of the tone is definitely in fingers and Clarence especially with Marty but tone chasing is fun 😂
Tone is not in the fingers. Or you wouldn't need all this specific gear to recreate it.

If it was truly "in the fingers" like you all wrongly believe, you could take any amp, with any guitar and get the sound you're looking for. Because the tone is "in the fingers" remember?

Its not and has never been "in the fingers". If it was, there'd be no need for this thread.

I have no idea of where to find a velvet hammer
All I know is Jeff Rhodes (Red’s son) has made some a few years back
But I don’t know how to reach him
