Some low life stole it from the Beverley festival Martin was playing. Who would steal an 80 year old mans guitar?

It’s a custom made Martin. Any information should be given to Martin through his website

Hooefulky it gets recovered. But there’s a part of me that hopes that the perpetrator suffers for this. Please share widely.

I doubt the guy knew it was his

Probably some low level employee/volunteer of the festival or and associated business with the festival (valet, caterer, sound guy etc)

It’s kinda hard for a nobody attendee to walk off with that stuff UNLESS it was one of those camp out/hippie festivals where everyone has a guitar with them

    Hippies are well known thieves

most of us tend to have a visceral reaction to thievery.....in some cases I understand it.....not saying I agree with or support it....but I do understand it

If the festival employed a professional big name backline/roadie/sound crew.....like Clair Bros....it’s less likely to be one of them....big professional backline companies police themselves pretty well

The important thing to recovering it is....the last time he remembers verifiably where it was (that means holding it or visually sighting it in the open particularly if the case was left behind) and the time it was discovered missing....all people inside that time frame close or near should be interviewed....
