Anyone watching this train wreck on AXSTV? What an utter embarrassment!

No, but to be fair it's probably not got a lot to do with The Marshall Tucker Band. Other than Doug Gray, who is even in the band? It hasn't been The Marshall Tucker Band for a long time.

I'm 65 and weren't they big when I could still drink a 12 pack just to get ready to hear 'em?

Nope, but I heard a promo for it on TV or radio recently, and the lead guitar was a fat greasy slide tone, like nothing I ever heard from MTB.

MTB in name only other then one guy. Most of the reviews I've heard of their recent live shows haven't encouraged me to go see them.

Most of the original band is dead.

Didn't see Marsdhall Tucker, saw the Sam Bush band though who were great. Also saw a band called Old Dominion, which I had never heard of before, they were pretty good.

They have not been the Marshall Tucker band for decades. As SnidelyWhiplash said, most of the original members are dead.

As far as I'm concerned, they were done when Tommy Caldwell died. Helluva band in their day though.

Their first three records are absolutely fantastic.

MTB, Columbus GA, 1975, the first concert I ever saw. I have to agree that the band was phenomenal in their heyday, but never overcame the losses of the Caldwell brothers.
