Many of our members are married. Most of us have probably married women deeply into the music of their teenager / young adult time period.

Who were the Rock Stars that really turned her own?

Debi has had a lifelong infatuation with Paul Rogers, Sammy Hagar and Alice Cooper. She's 70½ now and if there's any chance of catching a glimpse of them on a television show or whatever she's there and I'd better not interrupt her by asking how's supper going or whatever. So. The love of your life. Any youthful infatuations still rock & rolling around in there?

She went looking for trouble and boy... she found him:

They actually made eye contact at a show. Or so it goes...

If Elvis showed up wearing that toilet, he left town in, my wife would start screaming and jumping up and down! All the women from a certain era did! You had to have been there, you couldn't find a jar of peach pomade in a hundred square mile area, all the boys had the stuff slicked on their heads to form a hairdo just like Elvis's.

I painted a picture of Bob Dylan for my wife when we first met in University and it sealed the deal, that and tickets to the Dylan / Petty concert ,and 10 Exclusive one off photos of Mr. Zimmerman framed . We are extreme opposites and and mesh very well in our personal likes so there is no competition .

My wife is a big Elvis fan, (as in we had an Elvis-themed wedding, with an Elvis impersonator band and everything) but she observed one time something to the effect of "I love Elvis as much as anyone, but my mom is actually in love with him..." The mother-in-law is definitely the generation of ladies you're describing there!

Oh and I am in the same boat as @getbent - the Mrs was obsessed with Kurt Cobain but I don't feel threatened!
