Maple vs Rosewood. A poll.

It depends on the sort of rosewood tree you are talking about. As far as I'm concerned, there is not much that beats the Jacaranda tree when it flowers.

and the wood can be fairly spectacular as well.

Live Oak leaves were made by the devil. Can't effectively rake or blow them, curse them.

I always found Sycamore leaves fascinating. They fall, dry out and sound like paper plates blowing down the street.

For the purpose of this poll, maple leaf.

Here in Central KY I somehow have a Live Oak, aka Water Oak(?) I think it may have came with a greenhouse planting. The small Live Oak probably ate the plant and tricked me into thinking it was a friendly bush. Now, after maybe fifteen years, it is the single biggest living thing in my extended neighborhood?

Nope. The leaves look too much like rosewood. In fact, even more so.
