    We have a wide range of politics in our band too and mostly we just **** about it and that seems to work. When I do occasionally hear stuff that drives me nutz from one of the other members I just think of raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens and stuff like that.

    Being the band leader is pretty thankless, unless you're the main guy in a successful band. The others will never understand that your workload is more than all of theirs put together. Just my 2 cents.

    Patience is key. Respect is key.

    (Looks around, sniffs the air...) I can only detect one world. :confused:

    But I know what you mean. We collect like-minded friends and travel in circle where folks is just like us, but that leads to a slanted view. It's good to interact with other sorts, but I can see that complicates your role.

    Johnny Ramone was a hard core right winger card carrying Republican who loved Reagan;
    Dee Dee was the arty junky;
    Joey was the left leaning Jewish hippy.

    Rumour has it that after Johnny stole Joey's girlfriend they barely spoke yet the band continued for another decade. Joey wrote this:

    Judging by your avatar I thought maybe you would think of happy little trees.
