    ¡Bueno!™

Shoot! Well over 90° in good ol' Tucson today....past couple of days! Felt hotter. I had to roll back to town for the gem show and can't believe it's this hot already!

Last summer was as long and hot as I remember. I was all over from CA to AZ to NM and only relief was up ~7000' at Eagle Nest NM!

Usually doesn't get this hot so soon...I hope just a weird spike and that high doesn't linger over the SW for months again.

I'll be moving on soon but wonder if this is a taste of things to come....

Been worth it though! Some GREAT turquoise finds this year!

I'm curious.....does the heat bring the turquoise out more? Maybe it's been hibernating all winter, and now wants to get out in the sun? ;)

No! It usually comes out in January and February!

Gems shows was postponed.... I thought I was going to have to do another SW tour of the mines and miners and cutters like last year!

Yeah, it's been warm here too, in NC. It was up to 87 here the other day and the dew point was around 70. So tropical stickyness.

Love that turquoise. You need to make some bolo ties with that.

Typical temp most days last summer in Phoenix burb area was about 110. A grand total of a half-hour of rain between April and October aside from one rainy night of 3-4 hours.

    Tuscon was even hotter.

I doubt it's going to get cooler any year soon. The trend is drier and hotter every year.

I love the climate, but it's not for everyone.

I'm in Phx and I'm out of here as soon as I finish some business and sell this place. 35 yrs here and it just gets worse---environmentally and culturally. It's basically El Centro with a baseball stadium. Some people love it here but I'm pretty sure they've never been anywhere else. And it shows...

It snowed for about 15 minutes every waking hour yesterday. Mrs. Obsessed blames me because I took the snowplow off. Never seen anything like it. Major talk of the locals. Close to record cold of 20°F the last few mornings, but we might see the first 70s by Saturday.

More importantly, the creek is up, so more amp time.:)
