Next he has to carry up the Hammond B3 and the Leslie cabinet.

    Nice haul.

Of course, as a member of the peanut gallery, I was thinking he should've invited Faith Hill, to do the song "Breathe" or Toni Braxton "Breathe Again" or pick some other similar choice and he would've raised like ten times what he did, but...peanut gallery is peanut gallery.

    Ouch!

I recall various acts I've done that involved heavy lifting.
    Not fond memories!
One job on a third floor involved carrying 1/2" sheetrock as shipped with pairs of sheets taped together to protect inner faces.
Those pairs are 114lbs, and we had to carry them up fire escapes as they did not fit in the hallways.

I've sometimes moved two bundles of shingles @ 170lbs, and I weigh like 160.
One bundle at a time up ladders over and over.

    Now?
Cant play a LP on a strap AT ALL!
    A 7lb Tele is uncomfortable.
    Bummer.

Hope the hospital gets good $$ out of the sacrifice!

I recall hearing a pop from my lower back when I lifted my Leslie onto my truck.
    No B3 for me!

My only answer to any thing involving the movement of a piano is to show that person at least on of the following. Lol

One band I was in, late '60s, had a Hammond C3 organ and Leslie cab. I helped schlep the organ and Leslie up many stairs. I'm guessing the C3 weighed 300+ lbs. The Leslie, maybe 80 lbs? Fortunately, the C3 had a dolly that it sat in and a handle for each corner. It was still a hand full. Even for four people. The dolly by itself probably weighed 30 to 50 lbs, maybe more. Gotta admit the C3 sounded killer though. I was only in that band for a few months. My back was grateful.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to find the energy to go to the kitchen and wash some dishes.

I thought for sure this was going to be the set up for some kind of joke where the dude winds up saying something like he wishes he’d taken harmonica lessons instead.
