The Good Texan's thread reminded me of these awesome retro custom van dream weavers. I really like the song. That gal has some pipes.

Well, see, I had never heard the original, so to me it's a Nicki Bluhm song... :D
Nice way to kill time while driving from gig to gig, I think...

I would just about kill for them to cover this song with special guest Tele player G.E. Smith. " He rode that Tele all over the world ( in a van )."

    Great voice.

Wonder what equipment they used to record the van songs? It sure has a great mix...almost like the van accoustics were specially made for recording in.

Discovered this band about a month ago...I think I'm in love. Turns out they are coming to my area in September, I'm so there!

Check out the video they have of their song "Jetplane" can't get it out of my head!

I described it to my girlfriend as the best of grace potter, linda rondstat, and commander cody in one band

well maybe thats a stretch...but I can see it

Her husband is in the band Mother Hips. Great band from No. California.

They posted a new van session yesterday.

Cast thanks for sharing. This is the first I've seen/heard her/them, just great. I see they are coming to the Wash DC area in Sept - may have to attend, not sure how the audience fits into the van . . . but I'm willing.

    iPhone!

"Between gigs they pass the time by playing cover songs in their van, recording them with an iPhone and posting them online for fun. They do, indeed, wear their seatbelts."
