Imagine Sherlock Holmes as a thief (several steps ahead of his opposition, and several steps ahead of the opposition, every time), with an honor code. And shot in Paris, full of crooked cops and evil rich men. And with Ludivine Sagnier as his sort of ex wife.... What's not to like?

Another reason I love this board. Will add to my growing list to watch, which I never seem to get around doing, but this sounds very promising, thanks for posting.

Looks really cool. I bet my wife would love it.

I can't look at the word "lupin" without thinking of Monty Python, but that's another thing entirely.

I'm enjoying it a lot during my morning rowing machine session. It.s clever with great production values and the time shifts are well done. Omar Sy is great

“Lupin soup, roast lupin, steamed lupin, braised lupin in lupin sauce,
lupin in the basket… we even wear the bloody things!”

    Spoiler alert:

But seriously, they didn’t make a duplicate of that VHS tape?
Und vhat an abrupt ending! (I'll watch season II.)

I watched the first episode on an iPad while working out, so I didn’t even notice the overdubbed English.

We’re enjoying it. Quite clever and lots of different angles to it.

I didn't realize it was available dubbed -- I'm not a fan of dubbing. I know enough french to follow it.

I watched it through and found it silly but fun. Don’t look too hard for “Oh, no way that could happen!” and just enjoy it.

I'm glad it is dubbed. I find subtitles VERY distracting, to the point that I just won't watch a film or show with them.
