LPB on fifties Baja

    Love the fifties baja neck, love Barden pickups, really like a double bound Lake Placid Blue body. I had this:

    Very happy with the outcome: looks great, plays great, sounds terrific!

    Huge improvement over the black (my least favorite guitar color).

    Fender did make an FSR LPB Baja for the UK .Good guitar but a bit heavy for me .

    Nice! Is it hard to strip the poly finish on the Baja? Have one myself and been thinking about it!

    Trust me. It’s easier to sell the body and use that money to buy something like an MJT nitro finished body new on eBay. The MJT body might be more expensive at first, but after the money spent on all the paints, primers, sealers and such, you’ll soon probably be paying more. Plus it’s a lot of work and much care and patience is needed to do a good job.
