My latest project is a LP jr and I'd like to find an attractive, reliable set of tuners with keystone shaped pegs. I bought a pair of Kluson wafflebacks but I'm afraid they're too big. The housings touch each other when I dry fit them which leads me to believe turning them to tune would be very cramped. They look great but I think I need to look elsewhere for the fit and hope the form is an option. Anyone have suggestions?

Whenever I have concerns about a cramped space- even though I don't have particularly large fingers- I look at smaller buttons, rather than keystones. Maybe mini Grover types? Since you are fond of the keystone look, I'm afraid that isn't much help to you....
