Awesome! Looks great and sounds great!
There ya go!
That SOUNDS as good as it looks, most rare
Looks great, sounds fantastic.
Awesome guitar, Craig! Looks and sounds like a straight up fun rock machine.
I really appreciated the advice you gave me in my first build thread. It's fair to say your build here planted the seed for my next project...
Thanks for the inspiration!
The volume balance from string-to-string is incredible, as is the balance between neck and bridge pickups. Fantastic!
Thank you Dave!
There you go! I hope to see a build thread on this one Brandon!
Craig, before you get tired of hearing this, let me say that it looks and sounds incredible. Remind me again of what the pups are - as I recall they look like P90's but aren't really.
Thanks Freeman! They're based on the DeArmond goldfoil pickup dressed in a P90-like package.
It just seems like a P90 is the right pup for a Jr and those sound really good. I'll file this away for future reference....
Hi Craig,The polymer magnet material charges in a very homogeneous way. As a result, it gives nice string balance. In comparison, Alnico bars tend to charge with higher levels at their ends than in the middle. This can however help in accentuating a PAFs E string responses which is a good thing for a rock and roll oriented humbucker. Rob
Great looking, and sounding guitar Craig. I especially like the grass reflection on the surface - I thought maybe you'd done a paisley. Thanks for posting that tasty sound track.
Thank you! It was really a fun and challenging build. I've recorded some more tracks with it. I'll put up a link when it's done
