I'm looking for a looper on a budget and i would like to keep it below $150. The only feature that is a must is that it has either usb or a sd card so i can load in my own backing tracks...any suggestions?

Ditto Looper. ~$100 new, less used. One switch, one volume control. There are other models with more features. I believe that's a mini-USB port?

Ditto. Had a few, this is just plain easy. $75 and up I think

Can you actually load backing tracks in the Ditto or just copy your loops off?

This would be new to me, I have 2. The manual just says the USB port is for software updates.

Ditto is the best looper for sketching and practice, but not for loading backing tracks. The strategy there is to just put the backing track on your stereo and play along.

If you are looking for something for busking or performance where you need to load audio files, you need to look at the fancier boxes, and that gets out of hand fast. EHX 720 might be what you are looking for.
