Didn't you guys just legalize it nationwide? Peter Tosh would have been proud.

What would you suggest as the appropriate punishment for say, a reckless skateboarder on the sidewalk?

So in your book a busted taillight is the same with driving drunk or like a madman and KILLING people...ON PURPOSE.

    Interesting....

No your suggestion is not friendly but insulting (that is if I allowed myself being insulted by imbeciles in the "internets" which,of course,I don't).

No, just assume he runs into someone while skateboarding, like maybe an old lady. What do you do to him? (I saw this happen on the Venice boardwalk).

We don't do skateboarding in Athens, too hilly,so I have no idea.
Is there a skateboard plague in your city?
Do you have thousands of dead old ladies run down by skateboarders?

Do you have thousands of people getting killed by drunk drivers in Greece yearly?

Yep, there's a big traffic circle in Long Beach on PCH and I hate it. It's the most dangerous intersection in Long Beach. I think that little roundabout had only been installed about 4-5 months ago so the woman probably didn't even know it was there.

Actually, Greece did NOT have 100,000 deaths from traffic accidents over the last 15 years unless you had 84,000 deaths in 2005 and 2019.

Greece had about 16,000 automobile fatalities from 2006 through 2018. In fact, 2018 had less than half the number that 2006 had. What percentage involved reckless driving? 100 percent? Not likely. You should seek counseling.

Around 1.30pm the band and I were driving south from Bristol UK along this brand new dual carriageway to a gig. Now littered along the road was all the bits n pieces that were due to be put in place so I had to to watch out for obstacles. Well we made it to the gig where we were the band on for the night and we were to back Rattlesnake Annie who was touring the UK for her spot. The gig went well everyone enjoyed it and we started driving back to Bristol around midnight. This involved going back up this brand new road, but in the meantime the workers had built a roundabout slap bang in the middle. Guess who drove over it at about 80 mph in a Ford Transit Van. Rather like that girl in the video only I managed to land straight and carry on as if nothin' happened. A couple of the band had been sleeping and one woke up and said jokingly "S**t, did we just run over something.".. S

Remember my stated opinion of statistics? Statistics prove that roundabouts are safer than normal intersections. Hmmm. Whatta ya think Mr. Rogers?

My brother was an idiot also. he did it in a vw microbus. He would take our standard poodle and the dog did not like the ride. One day he went to get the dog and the dog bit the **** out of him. Served him right.

    Use Google translate.

And you are right it's not in 15 years ,I had this wrong, it's 150.000 dead and 350.000 heavily paraplegic (which is horrible )but in 50 years.

So we are talking about 5,5% of the population that lost their lives or left paraplegic, that is a genocide.

Last year we had around 1000 deaths .

The driving "culture" here is unbelievable.

In my book there are no car "accidents" when driving recklessly or under the influence and killing a child ,woman, man is premeditated MURDER.

Running a red light in front of a school is a clear attempt of murder .

    Nothing more, nothing less.
