I was expecting to see Daisy Duke going at it or some short shorts, the jump was still cool though. Lucky no one was hurt.
If that car had been built in the 70's she would have probably made it home.

We tended to shear off the pinion, just in front of the axle housing. The U-joint you could upgrade, but you had to switch to the Ford 9 inch axle if you wanted a stronger rear drive line. But then your bolt patterns, front to back didn't match.

We had this place called "Salt Road" and I'm not saying the Polizei instructed us to go back there and race. But I will say they always left us alone back in that isolated area (no residences, no livestock, just turf farms).

Interesting. Should they have shot her on the spot before checking to make sure she didn’t have a seizure or a mechanical malfunction or a diabetic episode? She didn’t kill anyone.

And what is your cut-off point? Should she have been shot on the spot and put down like a rabid dog if she hit the rock and stopped? What if she locked up her brakes and was spotted by a cop but didn’t hit anything? Shot dead? What if she started her car while drunk but didn’t leave her parking spot?

What if she didn’t actually get in her car but drank too much? What about people who speed but not under the influence? Shot like rabid dogs? What about people who talk on cell phones while driving? Shot? Texting while driving? Drinking coffee while driving? Eating while driving? Shot, shot, shot? ALL of them or just the ones who don’t have any connections? Should they be allowed a phone call first or just automatic bullet in the cranium?

I’d love to see a list of all the offenses you think warrant a summary execution without the benefit of a trial or review.

Ha, finally some logic and accountability to the blind, mind numb "Theys should be shot" brigade.

I had an employee who had a diabetic episode and a crash. Wrote off our company car.

I don't recall Daisy ever sending it on The Dukes Of Hazard. She's just a drunk Cooter.

I chuckle while imagining how immediate those airbags deployed & trying to enjoy that blind ride somewhat confused by the explosive mouthful of talcum & airbag. Well, she has a vid of her escapades to enjoy that rivals the Duke Boys.

Good thing Saint Nick wasn’t there with his gun...

I am profoundly repulsed by his post yet looking forward to his response. I need to understand how someone can think like that.

"Jazz cabbage".......thanks for that. I can use that expression to explain "nojazzhere" from now on. The real reason is more complicated and involved.....I can use this as a shorthand reason. ;)

I was thinking the same thing. I wasn't particularly a fan of "The Dukes of Hazzard," and have by no means watched every episode of the whole series, so I could have missed an episode where Daisy Duke launched her jeep (?) in the air. But it was the General Lee, with either Bo or Luke at the wheel, that was always "getting air" on that show. That said, that news report said that the "suspected" drunk lady pulled this stunt on "Daisy Avenue," so maybe that's where the OP got his title.

    2. Jason Bourne has many crashes and his cars always keep running. BMW's are crap?

I sure see a lot of kidzzz driving around in hotrodded turbo diesel pickups. It takes some scratch to buy and operate those. What must their loan payments be like?

I'd hate to hear your penalty for having a tail light out. Is that a mere maiming, perhaps torture and a beating followed by 20 years in the slammer?

I hear North Korea's nice this time of year - just a friendly suggestion.

Around the Boise area as well. Even out in the country where farm roads cross.
