Can anyone advise me where I can find a vintage style bridge plate which will be "notched" for the strings and which will accommodate a Bigsby B5? I thought Fender made one but apparently not. So I guess I need to find an "after market" model. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Gotoh make a reasonably priced one if you don't want to DIY.

Looking at that Allparts one got me to thinking. If you got an aftermarket top loader & reamed the toploader holes so the strings weren't making contact with the bridge would that work? You might need to be precise with the B5 placement on the body for that. Just a thought.

Van Dyke will be doing a run of notched bridges, and I've been told "soon, but not too soon". I went with the Allparts type. There are several vendors selling these, not sourced through Allparts, but from the far east (where Allparts aparantly gets'em).
