I have a 2020 HH Tele and both the pickups sound the same, sort of dull. Looking for opinions on what PUPS I could use that would fit. Is it an option to only swap out one or would both be better?

    (1) What kind of sound are you looking for, and (2) What amp/effects setup are you using?

These pickups are hotter ceramics, kind of intended for a younger player who wants to djent and such at high gain.

Plenty of winders can hide a lot in a humbucker cover. You can get classic Tele style single coil tones, p90 type tones, guild foils.....(it’s a long list). Might be helpful to know your goals first.

Are the pots 250k or 500k? 250k post will make full sized humbuckers sound dull.

I'm loving my SD PRails in my SG. Great HB tones in series or Parallel, great P90/94 tones from the Phat Cat coils and the Rails really surprised me because they get decent low wind Strat tones.

Also mixing a P90 from one pickup and a rail from another gets into regular Tele territory.

Find a winder? FWIW, IMO, Vineham is the best pickup vendor on the planet. Craig is an excellent guy to deal with. It isn't that his prices for a 'boutique' pickup can't be beat, the quality of them is top-notch. I cut my teeth playing on the genuine T-Tops in my MIJ LP copy. I definitely enjoy his '6070' T-Top clone more than the real deal.

If you will spend the $$ -
Lollar Imperials or Low Winds or,
    Bare Knuckle Mules.
Clarity, sweet tones, and excellent across the sound spectrum.

Check out GuitarMadness on eBay. Reasonable prices on AlNiCo pickups that get lots of love- I got a set of “fat pole” PJ pickups for a Squier bass that sound very good. $40 for the set- saw them on Dragonfire site for $70+... 3D0F51D4-092B-49AE-BC68-C856B4BC842D.jpeg
Just a quick look found these- toaster AlNiCo II pickups for $40 a set!! I’d try these- they look like fun!!!

I'm also a fan of Guitar Madness. Joe, the owner, is a great guy, offers exceptional service, and free shipping from his Ebay store. I've known several guys that have used his PAF style humbuckers with great results.

I put Gibson 57’s in my Blacktop Tele (HH). Made a huge difference.
