Finished tuning up this LE Rosewood Deluxe with locking tuners, Hipshot bridge, chrome switch tip and a set up and fret work by a local luthier (there was some serious fret sprout and a few "rough edges"). Plays and sounds terrific. But I'm not really digging the black knobs. Your suggestions for replacements?

I would prefer chrome and to have indicator to line up with the dots on the pick guard but I'm open to suggestions.

    Thanks all.

I would probably go with the metal dome style, to match the other hardware, but that doesn't give you the indicator. The selection offered by Allparts is pretty good, if you have not already checked that out.

Thanks. I see this one has an indicator and set screw. Anyone know if it would work?

You want "copy link address," not "copy link text."

On all of my Teles I’ve drilled a divot into the outer edge of top and filled it with black paint using a cotton bud. Works well as a reference point. Simples!

See my post above, I’d drop in some paint.

This is my vote. I love these knobs and I believe you can find them in multiple colors. I bought a cream set for a fuzz pedal a friend built for me.

I LOVE the black witch hats that are on it. You can get white ones if you don't like the black. You can also get black or white Mustang-style knobs. They would look nice as well. But chicken-heads would attract more attention!

I’d go for chrome knobs. I’m sure there’s one of the independent suppliers that do chrome with a dot to act as a marker, but I can’t remember where I saw it.

I'm looking for some just like those except possibly in brown...though the cream is nice too. Do they have a set screw? Will they work with solid-shaft pots? And where can I get them?

There is an incredibly retro-cool vibe going on here... :)
